Here at Tierra Prometida Alpacas, we are thrilled to have Snowmass Touche' in our herdsire line-up. We have been looking for a long time for a males who can geneticallly and phenotypically complement our herd.
We were looking for a male that we could breed to our Elite White females and to our colored production females. In essence, we were looking for a male with Elite Fleece Characteristics--especially with his combination of Density, Fineness, Brightness, and excellent staple format...

Joey is a beautiful 1/2 Accoyo Anton daughter who is beautiful with correct conformation. She has a very fine dense fleece and we are proud to have her as part of our core herd. Her first cria out of Poseidon was absolutely outstanding Tierra's Poseidon's Prestige with an extremely fine fleece that was loaded with character.
We bred her to Snowmass Touche' this year to capitalize on the combination of her fineness and his fineness and density. Her cria is a beautiful young girl that we have just weaned and her fleece is fantastic! Super fine with a high frequency crimp and tiny little bundles!
In fact, we liked how she turned out so well that we have bred her back to Snowmass Touché this year too! She now has a spunky little Snowmass Touche' male at her side with a spectacularly fine fleece.
Her EPD for AFD is -1.9...which is excellent.
